New Year

We have had a wonderful 2008. A bunch of things happened and we are really glad the year is over. It seemed to be a medical year for us. We pray everyone is healthier this year. Cole had eye surgery in July. Then a day later he broke his leg. Then in September while Emma and I were at our Ladies Retreat, Josh called and said that Cole and him were in a wreck. They totalled the car out. BUMMER! He was excited because it meant that he got a new one, but bummer for our pocket book. Oh well. Cole walked away healthy, we thought anyways, but a few days later they learned that he had a broken collar bone from the wreck. Now we are fighting the insurance company in his behalf. Then a month later Emma cut her eye open and had to have stitches. She was such a big girl and sat there the whole time and let them put stitches in her eye. WOW, Josh and I both were very impressed with her. That was the last of the medical and hopefully it will be the last for a really long time.

Life is great here in Azle. We are missing my dad. He has moved to Germany for his job and plans to be over there for three years. WOW, what a long time to be seperated from him. We will survive though. We keep in touch through the internet. One good thing that will come from it is that we get to go to Germany for a month over the summer. We are very excited. What an opportunity for the whole family to get to see a different part of the world. Hope the new year brings everyone a happy and wonderful year! We love all of you!

Life

Sorry I don't have any pictures at the moment, but I will get some really soon. We are loving life down here in Azle.

Emma is four now and is really fun to be around. She loves to talk on the phone, do crafts, and just spend time with us. She can be a mess at times, but we still love her dearly.

Cole is one now and he is into everything. He loves to laugh. He is sooooooooooo much like his daddy. Everything in the world is funny. He is very ticklish and loves to cuddle with hi mommy. Always said I didn't want a mommy's boy, but boy did I get a big mommy's boy. That is ok though. He will grow up and still be independent, because he very head strong like his sister.

The kids love to lay on the ground and just restle. They are so funny together. When they are in the car, Cole has to have his sister's arm next to him so that he can rub it. Who knows why, but they really love each other.

Josh is still in Chico. He loves the band and is really enjoying his job. I am at Azle still. I teach earlychildhood and I love it. Sometimes it is really challenging due to I have the same age at home, but that is ok. My kids only stay little for little time. Don't want to wish it away. Hope everyone is doing great out there. Keep in touch.

Grandma and the Great Grandbabies

Aunt Debbie and Emma

Aunt Debbie is back. We are so glad. Emma just loves her Aunt Debbie. In this picture they are dancing with roses in their mouths. Aunt Debbie is really good at teaching Emma some crazy stuff. She is a hoot.

The Kids

Sorry it has been so long since I have posted anything. Things have been crazy around here. Everyone is doing well. Cole just had tubes put in and he is beginning to hear. We are so glad because he was one sick little boy all the time before. Emma is really growing. She is now FOUR years old. Josh and I can't believe she is so big now. Cole is ONE now. He is huge and growing. He is going to eat us out of house and home. He could eat all day and all night. He is walking now everywhere. Although he seems to be much easier to handle than Emma. WE are so thankful that we have a easy going little one now. Here are some pictures of our two stinkers.

Emma and Cole

Look at these two. They are so darn cute together. We love them both. Emma got a pair of Memaw's reading glasses. She took out the lenses and let her have them. So Emma decided that Cole needed to wear them. Emma had a picture taken with glasses when she was about Cole's age and they look a lot alike. Don't know what we are going to do about the red hair though. It needs to change. That red hair is not good.

Eight Months Old

Cole is now eight months old now. He is growing way too fast. Right now he is army crawling every where. He loves to follow his sister down the hallway. He is also pulling up on the couch and chairs and walking around them. He is so ready to walk, but those little legs just aren't ready. He smiles all the time. We are so lucky with him. He is the easiest little guy. Thank you God for giving us someone that is easy going, because Emma Cloud is not that way. She is really going to give us a run for our money.
