Emma and Cole

Look at these two. They are so darn cute together. We love them both. Emma got a pair of Memaw's reading glasses. She took out the lenses and let her have them. So Emma decided that Cole needed to wear them. Emma had a picture taken with glasses when she was about Cole's age and they look a lot alike. Don't know what we are going to do about the red hair though. It needs to change. That red hair is not good.

Eight Months Old

Cole is now eight months old now. He is growing way too fast. Right now he is army crawling every where. He loves to follow his sister down the hallway. He is also pulling up on the couch and chairs and walking around them. He is so ready to walk, but those little legs just aren't ready. He smiles all the time. We are so lucky with him. He is the easiest little guy. Thank you God for giving us someone that is easy going, because Emma Cloud is not that way. She is really going to give us a run for our money.

A Day at Six Flags

Dinner at Memaw's and Pawpaw's House

Oh Memaw. She is the best. She is holding Cole while visiting with LaLa. Don't you just love the glasses. Emma thinks they are the coolest. So much that now she owns a pair of Memaw's old glasses. Man what happens to the eyes when you get old?????



Don Don is enjoying the visit. WE love it when he comes to town.



Emma is driving around the big car. She needs to retire the car, a little big for it. Soon Cole will want it.



Uncle Car Car is relaxing. He is a pretty cool guy! Emma thinks so anyways.



Sweet LaLa! We love her. We really enjoy when they come out to Azle to visit.



Daddy and Cole are playing in the chair while waiting on supper. Man it sure is going to be good.


Eating at my parents is a blast. We love to make weekly visits with them. This was one weekend when Dad decided to barbecue. He love to smoke those briskets. They are yummy!

Our Poindexter Ladies Retreat

Owen... He is a doll. He was our man for the weekend. He was so cute, didn't feel to well at times, but hopefully he will soon. Those yucky teeth are terrible.



Mom and Me!!!! I love my mom. We had so much fun all weekend together. She is the best!



This is the dinning room table. We ate all weekend!!!!! Our tummies are so stuffed and I am sure we all gained some weight. But man the food was so YUMMY!



Sharon is sitting and knitting a purse. She was so wonderful and made everyone cell phone holders. Emma really loves hers.



Mom and Aunt Debbie are enjoying their pedicures. They were wonderful. I love to have my toe nails painted and especially when someone else does it.



This is a picture of all the lovely ladies that showed up at the ladies retreat. We had a great time relaxing all weekend. The massage was the best. Thank you Lolabeth! We really appreciate everything you do for the weekend.

Roger "Cole" Skipper

This is Roger Cole Skipper. He is almost seven months old. He will turn seven months on September 7th. We named him after my family. His first name is my maiden name without the s. So I am pretty partial to his name. He weighed 23 lbs and was 29 inches long at his last well baby visit at six months. We believe he is a little heavier now, because he is about to start fitting into the eighteen month clothing. Cole is laid back and easy going unless it is supper time. He loves to eat. He will eat anything that is in his sight. He also loves to drink sweet tea! If he sees your glass, you are guranteed to hear a squeal coming from him. He will want a BIG drink. Right now he is starting to pull up on things around the house. He really wants to walk, but those little legs of his arent ready yet. They will be soon, though because he is ready and very strong. We are going to be running everywhere once he is up and running. He loves to sit and smile at you when you talk. Cole also loves kisses. He will give you the best slobbery kisses in the world. He is growing up way too fast especially since this is our last baby.

Emma Cloud and her arm

Hello to family and friends,

For some of you that dont know about Emma's arm. She broke it on August 13. We didnt know at that time though. She came wailing out of her room that evening while Josh was at summer band. I asked her to move everything and she was able to. So I just blew her off as being a big drama queen. Well she wasnt after all. Last week I grabbed the wrist and she just cried. So my dad took her back to the doctor and sure enough the wrist had a buckle fracture. They put a hot pink cast on her arm. She will be in it for two weeks. That is a small amount of time, but hopefully she wont beat anyone up with the cast before then.
