This is the crazy crew. We have had a great summer. It has flown by way to fast though. We are not ready for school to start, but oh well, here it comes. Only two weeks left before inservice starts. We have traveled to West Texas to pick up Emma. We got to see some friends from school while we were up there. It was a lot of fun.
We really haven't done much. We are currently living with my mom to save up some money for a house, that hopefully in three years I will be able to post about. We hope and pray anyways. So in the backyard we have a pool. The kids are loving it. Emma has learned how to swim with no life jacket or floaties. We are so proud of her. Then Cole wears his life jacket and swims everywhere. We have had a few friends over to swim with us. It is nice to have extra company around sometimes.
I took Emma to a place called Sweet and Sassy. Oh my goodness. I am in the wrong business. They charge and arm and a leg to just paint their toes and fingers and make them think that they are having a real pedicure. I was amazed at what they charge. Guess it is ok for a one time thing. I don't think we will be going back. I didn't take any pictures either. Totally forgot.
Josh and I got to enjoy some time away, it was just a night away in San Marcus, but it was a blast. It is so much fun to ride in a car with my husband, when I don't fall asleep on him. He will make you laugh and smile all the time. He is a great guy! We went to San Marcus and went back to school shopping. Oh my goodness, everybody in the world was down there. It was really busy, but we got some amazing deals. It was also nice to get away from the kiddos for a little while. We did miss them terribly. Emma appreciated us a little more when we got back.
Now we are trying to get ready for school. I moved schools this year. Awaiting a new adventure. I am ready. I prayed that God would open a new door this year since Emma starts school and he did. God does some amazing things in our lives. I let too much time go by where I don't thank him for what he does for us. So we are venturing to new stomping grounds and we are READY!
Can't believe our baby starts school. She is not old enough yet in our minds, but guess she is. I got tears in my eyes the other night when I was talking with my mom about her first day of school. Not too sure how it is going to work, especially since both Josh and I have classrooms ourselves. Guess this is where my mom comes in. What a blessing it is to have her around.
Hope everyone has a great rest of the summer!
