A Great Trip to the Fort Worth Zoo

By the time we got to the giraffe section, the kids were exhausted. They were getting whiny and ready to go home. We weren't finished though, so we continued to venture up to the lions. OH MY GOODNESS, there were millions of people up there. That is when we decided to pass everyone as fast as we could and go home. We didn't even get out of the parking lot and our little man was fast asleep. Man I love peace in the car!

This picture is for my hubby. He grew up on a farm and as a farmer's child. He loved it, but sure has turned into a city boy. I talk all the time about moving out to the country where it is quiet. He doesn't like that idea at all. He always tells me it is to far from everything else in the world. Makes me sad at times, but then glad at times we aren't stuck in the counrty as well though. I loved this picture and it was takend in the Texas section of the zoo.

At the zoo, they have this neat exhibit in the Texas section. While we were in there, they had to sit in the tunnel. Oh what a mess my two kids are, but a blast to have around at times even when I want to adopt them out.

We rented a two person stroller. That was the best thing we did. Cole is only three so he can't make it forever walking, but neither can Emma who is six. She eventually got tired and it was nice that she actually had a place to ride. Sure hope they have something like this at Disney World or we are going to be in big trouble.

The kids are sitting on this huge lizard in the new exhibit. They really liked it.

Over spring break, we decided to hang around the metroplex and do things here with the kids. We took them to the Fort Worth Zoo. Wow, there were millions of people there. Too many and we won't be returning there over spring break ever again. Hopefully anyways. The kids had fun. They are standing right here in front of the new exhibit. They had to go in and their daddy survived. He isn't a snake person, but he did survive the exhibit.
